The Pontiac G8, which is set to debut next year, will be built on a new rear-wheel drive platform and offer a 6 liter motor producing 362 hp. It will offer competition to the Dodge Charger. It's good to see GM moving in this direction and trying to put product before profit margins. The bad old days of Roger Smith are hopefully behind GM.

For the price, the performance is pretty reasonable, plus it is easy to hot rod GM products. There are a zillions things out there for the Chevy V8 which will be in the Pontiac.
